About The Practitioner Let me introduce myself. My name is Kelly Neylan and I am a Usui and Karuna Ki Reiki Master. I have completed several levels of Reiki training. I am a Reiki practitioner working on others as well as a teaching master passing on the knowledge and ways to others. I am a registered yoga instructor (www.lastinglightyoga.com). I am also a chakra sound healer. My background in both yoga and Reiki lend me a unique perspective to the chakras and energy work.
When I had my first Reiki session, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I didn’t even really know exactly what Reiki was; my friends said I’d love it so I just decided to try it. I had a really powerful experience and it left me just wanting to know more. From there I took my first Reiki level I class and then I knew I was hooked. There was just something about it that just felt right with me. It spoke to my soul and I knew that this was the work that I should be doing. I have a real passion for reiki and wish to share that with you.
Reiki and yoga has brought a sense of peace and balance to my busy family life and I want to share my secret for happiness with as many people as I can.
I hold workshops to teach Reiki so that you can become a Reiki practitioner. If you have a group or organization that is interested in a class please contact me. I am also available to give free presentations to groups about Reiki.
I am the founder of Yoga for Africa, an organization formed to raise money and awareness for the plight in those in Africa. Donations from Yoga for Africa classes go to the World Vision organization. If you are interested in sponsoring a Yoga for Africa class with your organization or group please contact me.
I am also a big proponent of eco-friendly living and I am available to speak out as an eco-advocate for your events. My latest venture is authoring the upcoming book Little Bodies Big Souls, how children's yoga can change your life, due out in 2011.
